Barbara Nelson began her travel career with international tour directing for Classic Tours in Braintree, MA, Vantage Travel in Brookline, MA, Globus and Cosmos Tours, Rogal Associates of Newton, MA, and many other tour operators. Barbara has directed tours throughout the USA and to Mexico, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Russia, South America, Scandinavia, Bermuda, and on cruises. She has traveled extensively worldwide and has studied in Denmark, France, Ireland, and England.

Barbara was a Corporate Sales Manager for Carlson/ Presidential Travel in Cambridge , MA responsible for generating sales in major corporations in the Boston area.

Since 1995, Barbara has been the Director of Nelson Travel Management, specializing in leisure travel sales for properties in the Caribbean , Bermuda , and the Bahamas . She was also the Regional Sales Representative for Gate 1 Tours for six years.

During the past ten years, Barbara has been an active member of New England C.T.O. In 2003, she was the Fundraising Chairperson for New England C.T.O. Currently, she is on the Board of New England CTO and is a member of the Greater Boston Tour Guide Association.

Barbara graduated from the University of Bridgeport, Conn. with a B.S. in Art Education. From 1979-1980, Barbara studied in England as a Rotary Foundation International Award winner.

Catharina Huyser began her multi-faceted industry career in 1981 as the Operations Manager for the Anchorage Hotel (now Sandals Antigua ) until 1989. She then became Regional Sales Manager for Divi Resorts responsible for the sales activities in NJ, PA, MD and VA. In 1990 she served as National Sales Manager for Palmas Del Mar Beach & Golf Resort developing incentive and golf groups, organizing theme events and presentations.

Between 1991-1992 she worked with International Travel Resorts as a sales manager for their portfolio of resorts. In 1992 she became Director of Product Development with SalesForce USA soliciting and contracting new accounts up until 1994.

Catharina became the Regional Director of Sales for SMARTS Inc. in 1993 and held the position till 1994. She was responsible for all sales, organized fam trips, coordinat ed presentations to special interest groups and maintained the relationships with tour operators. She held the position of Regional Sales Manager from
                                                        1994-2003 for Divi Resorts and the Aruba and Divi Tamarijn.

Catharina now operates CH International representing the Amsterdam Manor, Aruba and the properties affiliated with Aird + Wojcik Resort Marketing. She served as an Allied Board Member from 2000-2004 for the Garden State CTO Chapter and is a member of Association of Central Jersey Professionals and New Jersey Airline Representatives Society where she also held the position of secretary.
